HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ARTWORK

The care guide below will help you look after either your pyrography or watercolour art.

PYROGRAPHY ART

Due to the delicate nature of wood burning UV rays can make the burned design fade overtime, therefore to maintain the beauty and vibrancy please keep away from direct sunlight.

Please keep away from direct heat source, for example open fires or radiators.

To clean your wooden decor please wipe clean with a lint free dry cloth.

Indoor decorations are not intended for outdoor use and are not waterproof or dishwasher proof.

WATERCOLOUR ART

The painting is created and designed using mixed mediums of the highest quality.

The paper is 100% cotton and acid free. Acid free paper has a longer life spell than average day to day paper.
The paints within the artwork are highest grade pigments by either Windsor & Newton or Daler Rowney, these pigments are lightfast and are resistant to fade if cared for correctly.

Watercolour paint is not like other mediums such as acrylics, therefore the paint remains exposed and unsealed and could be damaged easily, therefore it is highly recommended to mount and frame the artwork.

Choosing the right mount and frame is important. It's best to use UV protected glass on the picture frames and opting for acid free, archival grade mounts, paper, backing boards are the best in protecting artwork.

It is always best to hang your artwork away from direct sunlight.

All of the above should help you enjoy your artwork for many many years.
